Wide range of emotions

These past 6-8 weeks have been one roller coaster ride of emotional stress. Going from one extreme to the other. Getting laid off longer than usual (financial stress), starting a business (exciting and overwhelming at the same time), trying to get pregnant (fun but frustrating), work has been more stressful than usual lately (just plain craziness).

I have been keeping myself pretty busy though. I am working on my 101 list; have been keeping busy with the puppy, working out with Justin and I've already booked 2 photography jobs since December!

I have also been trying to figure out our calendar for the year. Devin turns 30 this year, Damon's Mom, Sue, turns 60 this year, I have a wedding booked on April 18th, we normally go to OC for Memorial day, and this year we hope to go to New Orleans with Terry and Kate in late March, I believe. Also, we were invited to a vow renewal for our friends, Paul and Sandy. That is in April 10th. I hope we can do all of these things this year.

Sue & Terry Speaking of Devin, Damon's brother for those that don't know. Devin and his wife, Erica, were lucky enough to win a free IVF cycle, at a fertility seminar they go to. Unfortunately, they cannot get pregnant naturally and this will help them in their journey for a family. The IVF cycle is worth $15,000!

Damon and I are still trying to get pregnant. Unfortunately, we are not pregnant yet.

Murdok, our Great Dane, is doing great! We are so lucky! He is the best dog ever! We have been playing 'soccer' a lot lately. I will dribble the ball back and forth between my feet and he will try to get it from me and then dribble it himself. It is awesome. He has so much fun. He cheats though. He uses his mouth and plays 'keep-away'. I tell him that is like me using my hands....he doesn't care! ha!

I'm trying to finish designing my new business card. One that more closely matches the website rather than the one that I have now. I also want larger photos on the card so I will probably only have 3 pics on it. Valentine's day is on Saturday! I know Damon already got my gift. I saw it the other day and he told me I couldn't have it until Saturday. I have no idea what to get him. Maybe he'll post a blog on here and let me know what he wants....*nudge, nudge*

I really should be sleeping now. I just woke up from a 5 hour after work, and 2 mi bike ride, nap. I'm not too tired now.
