The Big Freeze 2009! Busy, busy, busy.

That ball is actually from one of his 'Kong' 'Wubba' Toys. He loves them. They resemble octopi.
You can't quite see it in this photo but a little past halfway from the top in the gap is Damon's wedding ring. A close-up is below.
He was reaching out of the closet and his ring slipped off his finger and stuck between the wall and the closet door.
I get the chance here to show off my new iPhone, and also I learned more about Burch, my sister's almost Fiance.

Buy Murdok a toy and death will become of it. You will see. I didn't even get a chance to get a pic of the 'complete' toy before he began 'playing' with it....

The froggie smiles through the whole event! Simply Amazing!
Death to the Froggie!
Poor Froggie! If I could find him now I would show you what is left of the poor guy. I'll tell you; he definitely can't see or walk. =(

On Saturday, we went to Tiffany's Birthday party. It was fun. I wasn't feeling well so I left early but Damon had a blast and enjoy a few cocktails! Happy Birthday Tiffany!
Tiff and Her husband, Scott! Party On!!
A few weeks ago I received an email from a friend of mine telling me I should try out Angel food Ministries. www.angelfoodministries.org I thought it was a gimmick. Then I was on the telephone with Terry, my father-in-law, and he said that they had been doing it a couple months and the food was great. I called up my friend, Kate, and said 'Hey, do you want to go in on this with me? We can split the cost and see how we like it?' She agreed and so did her Grandmother!

So our absolutely wonderful surprise, this food is AWESOME!

Oh and the best part....it's enough food to feed a family of 4 for a week for $30.00! That's right! $30.00! Check it out in your local area. www.angelfoodministries.org

March's menu looks awesome, can't wait to place our order. Kate, and her Grandma will also be placing orders. We have to place March's order by the 15th and we pick up on the 28th. It's a great deal and the people at my pick up site are wonderful. My pick up site is not in the greatest of locations. But I didn't feel unsafe per se walking on the street to the church. It's kind of hard to describe the location if you haven't been some of the 'not where the tourists go' areas in Baltimore. Wonderful people though. I think I'm going to find out how to be a volunteer if they need any.

In the on the boxes of food that we purchases were sweet potatoes. I made a sweet potato casserole with cornflake topping. Oh my is it delish. It will be in my 25 fav. recipe list on my 101 List. Here are some photos of the casserole.

I am 26, almost 27 years old and have yet in all my baking, cooking, grilling experiences, to make a Pineapple upside down cake. Well the other day I did. I think it looks absolutely gorgeous. I put it in a bundt pan and put the pineapples in so that when you cut it there was a pineapple and cherry with each piece, rather than in a 9x13 inch rectangular pan.

The parts of the cake where the pineapple sauce you put on the bottom of the pan and where there is a piece of pineapple or cherry were fantastic. The other part of the cake was very bland but moist. I think next time I will add flavoring to the cake. Here are some photos! Don't you want some??? haha

Murdok has invaded the couch....with Mommie's permission of course....and now I have created a monster. I looked down from the stairs and this is what I saw! If he can do it when Mommie's around he can do it when Mommie isn't there too.
Silly dog!

We had about 6 inches of snow overnight between Sunday and Monday. South and East of us got hit even worse with 10 inches or more. This was enough snow to shut everything down for the day and get some shots of Murdok outside! Enjoy! This is one of the funniest pictures I have ever captured of Murdok...
not only did it happen once today........ but it happened twice! And I caught it on film! haha!
Random Snow Shots

I have been pretty busy this week.

I have been editing and uploading photos all week. I will have some new ones on the website but a lot of the photos I have been taking recently are personal photos!

I listed a lot of items on eBay. Probably around 20 items at the moment. Hoping to get more listed today. You can view my items by doing an advanced search on eBay. Search by seller and enter jsolvey as the seller ID. www.ebay.com

I finished all my laundry in 2 days. This is a huge feat for me! Usually I just let it sit in a basket until I need it, then I throw it in the dryer to de-wrinkle it. But this time I put it all away! Yay for me! ha!

I have almost got all of my contacts updated from my old phone to my iPhone. For some reason it didn't sync all of the info I had on everyone so I have to add all that by hand.

I have talked to quite a few old friends this week. Jess, Mindy, Shane, Colleen, to name a few, and some family I haven't talked to in a while as well, Aunt Linda, Mom, Dad, and Erica. I know Mom and Dad shouldn't be on the list but I haven't talked to them in a long time....3 weeks or so maybe. =( I know shame on me!

My friend Mindy and Her husband Greg had their new baby! A boy, named Ayden Gregory. He was 8 lbs 1/2 oz. and was 20" long. He was born on Feb 19th at 6:20 am. Mom and baby are great!

I went to the Gynocologist last week. Unfortunately, I am not pregnant. Thank you for verifying that, littly pesky blood test! I did prescribe some Progesterone to clean out my system and try to regulate my period. I will be making an appointment with a Reproductive Endocronologist in the next couple weeks. We are going to see what our options are now that we have tried for over a year with no success.

As far as the list goes...

#40 is complete...
VVA picked up the clothes today!

#47 I have a pile of recipes I want to add to the list I just have to do it....I have been typing them up all day today, hopefully I will finish.

#93 is complete. Until we actually build cabinets or whatnot in this closet the way it is organized now is probably the best it can be.

I will keep you updated as more things happen in our lives and more things get completed on my list!
